Speaking of the Primo...

I’ve received a lot of good questions and comments related to the Primo over the past few weeks. Rather than answer them individually, I’ll try to pick out a few key topics and answer them for everyone to see. Keep them coming!

When can I get my Primo personalized?

Several people have asked when the option to customize their Primo will be available. Essentially, we currently do not offer the option as the demand is so high for the gloves and we have a limited production capacity. We’re working on the personalization plan right now for the Primo and hope to launch it next spring…

Is the Primo completely waterproof?

I’ve noticed a few comments about the Primo being waterproof. I want to be clear….the Primo does have a water-proof treatment applied to its leather to repel water; however, this does not mean that you can submerge your glove in water. Water can get in into the lace holes, padding, etc. if you’re not careful and cause damage to your glove. So, in summary, never soak your glove!

When will other Primo models/patterns/sizes be available?

We plan to launch a 12” pattern this fall. We’re still debating on what kind of web it should have. Let me know what you think! We’ll expand the line further next spring. Check out your local sporting goods dealer, online retailer, or favorite cataloguer to see if they carry the Primo models you are looking for.

I hope that helps answer some of your questions.

I was at my local sporting goods dealer, and I saw key chains/key fobs on all of the Pro Preferreds and HOHs. They had the glove series stamped on it. Does the PRIMO come with a key fob?

The current Primo models do not come with keychains; however, they will be included on the gloves in the near future.

If we're talking the 12" Primo, I think the mid 1990's HOH's, the Pro 12TC Ozzie Smith and the regular PRO-1000BC and PRO1000-H patterns should be considered. Along with the 1st 4 models out already you would have the most complete and amazing line of gloves in production. I really miss those 12" infielders patterns with that quality leather, before the 12" gloves got large and more specific to pitchers. Hope you guys agree.

I just bought the Primo for my son, Zack, who plays high school baseball. What an incredible piece of work - it was worth every dollar. I was so impressed I bought one for myself too! I love the way the ball pops in the glove. The pocket is perfect. This is without a doubt the best glove ever made, and Rawlings is the gold standard. Thank you.

Thanks for the heads-up! What's your email address? We'd like to get some more info on this situation so we can make sure it doesn't happen again.

Thanks,
